MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 15, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Youth minister Jerry Bowman's motto isn't too far off. "Preach the Gospel at all times, if necessary, use music." A few years ago, Minister Bowman, realized the youth weren't responding to traditional ways of preaching the gospel.

That's when Minister Bowman decided to try something different. He'd always enjoyed listening to Christian music but said that the kids he was around were "absolutely saturated in it."

Late nights and days Jerry spent in his home and studio creating music to capture the young generation's attention. Jerry created a single called, Redeemer of Zion which incorporated the up beat flare in music as well as a powerful message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

His ministry is clearly working. Youth are responding to the message through the music. With music today talking about drugs and gangs, he is convinced that there are ministers God is using that use music as a tool to win the young generation.

Jerry will be traveling throughout the U.S. to the inner city youth to preach the gospel with the help of his music.
