ORLANDO, Feb. 11, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Kairos Prison Ministry International (www.kpmi.org) winter conference attendees in Orlando joined 30,000 other ministry volunteers around the world in simultaneous prayer this weekend for the installation of Evelyn Lemly, new executive director. From simple beginnings as a short course in Christianity inside a Florida prison in 1976, Kairos has grown into an international ministry serving more than 430 facilities in 10 countries. Volunteers give more than three million hours of service each year to incarcerated men and women, youth offenders and their families.
