Statement on the Passing of William F. Buckley, Jr.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 /Christian Newswire/ -- Concerned Women for America (CWA) expresses its sense of profound loss on the death of William F. Buckley, Jr.  Mr. Buckley's life was devoted to promoting conservative values as the foundation for a free and democratic society. William Buckley's ideas have helped to shape American thought and produced writing that influenced political leaders and civic-minded Americans over half a century of remarkable productivity. It is fitting that he died while at work. We send our condolences to his son, Christopher and other family members.
