LILBURN, Ga., Oct. 21, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Independent Documentary Film What Men Really Want will be released to DVD on Amazon this October 24th. The release is the first public launching of this true-life exploration into the minds of men across all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. It uncovers what men want out of life, and shines an honest and impartial light on men's innermost thoughts, desires, fears and motivations.

Divorced four times himself, turning 43 years old and having a job that left him unfulfilled, filmmaker Bill Collins reaches a turning point as he considers what he really wants in life -- the truth is, he had no idea. Taking a leap of faith, what started as a personal search turns into a passionate nation-wide endeavor spanning over two years and over 300 personal interviews with men and women all across America.

What Men Really Want, produced and directed by Bill Collins himself, features interviews with people from all walks of life -- truck drivers, construction workers, attorneys, artists, engineers, doctors and students. The search for answers also goes to the experts, including Psychologist Dr. Stephen Spangler, Dr. Karla Booker MD, and relationship coach Trayce Pearson. Not stopping there, the film also features interviews with such well-known personalities as comedian Jeff Foxworthy and his wife Gregg, and others as they delve deep and bring truth to light in a way that can only be described as "moving, funny, inciting and honest."

What Men Really Want is a rare and remarkable independent Christian documentary film that goes beyond the surface, beyond the assumptions, to dig deep into the human heart in unearthing honest answers and real hope to endless questions and misunderstanding about men, women, relationships -- and, along the way, answering that ever-allusive question from which the film takes its name -- "What do men really want?" A personal journey has become a passionate mission as Christian filmmaker Bill Collins now shares his own life-changing adventure through the release of What Men Really Want.
