CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 20, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Local pastors, business leaders, crisis pregnancy center directors, and Christians will join Operation Save America for a press conference and a Memorial Service, mourning 38 years of unabated child-killing in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Their purpose: to end child-killing in Charlotte by bringing the theology of the church house into the streets -- right to the doors of the three local abortion mills in this city!

It has been 38 years since January 22, 1973, when Roe v. Wade became law and our Supreme Court unleashed the floodgates of hell upon this land. For 38 years the Church of Jesus Christ has silently tolerated this lie that is destroying us. We have said, "abortion is wrong" -- but we have not pleaded the case of the fatherless to win it. Today, over 60 million children are dead. NO MORE!

NO MORE, will we sit passively by while children die. NO MORE, will we wait for the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court, or the Republican Party to save the lives of unborn children. NO MORE, will we peacefully coexist with child-killing in our city!

WE ARE AT WAR! And we are winning. Four hundred and forty children were saved from abortion in Charlotte in 2009. Three hundred and seventy-five children were saved in 2010. And twelve have been saved already this month.
