The God of All Glory Tour Brings Classic CCM Artists in Concert

NASHVILLE, Feb. 11, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Legendary Contemporary Christian Artists Steve Green, Larnelle Harris, Twila Paris and Wayne Watson will share the stage in Brentwood, Bakersfield and Rialto for the beginning of nationwide tour on Feb 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The tour, called the God Of All Glory Tour, brings together four of the best-known voices in Christian music of the '80s and '90s. The tour is traveling to several U.S. cities in 2013 and will mark the first time that these distinctive artists have performed together on one stage.

Steve Green began his career in Contemporary Christian Music nearly 30 years ago as the lead tenor singer in the Gaither Vocal Band, and later formed the ground-breaking Christian rock band Whiteheart. Green recorded his debut solo album in 1984 and won the Dove Award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1985. Since that time, he's put out 30 albums and 22 number one songs, received four Grammy nominations and eight Dove Awards; and in 2010 was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Since 1980, Twila Paris has released 22 albums and had 33 number one hits. She has been named the Gospel Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year three times, and received a total of 10 Dove Awards and three American Songwriter Awards. Paris was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

For more than 40 years, Larnelle Harris has been lifting his God-given tenor voice to the heavens and has recorded 23 albums with 19 number one hits. Harris has been honored with 11 Dove Awards, five Grammy's and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Wayne Watson has had 23 number one singles on Christian radio including the 1989 Dove Award's Song of the Year, "Friend Of A Wounded Heart." Watson was also named GMA's Male Vocalist of the year in '89 and has a total of seven Dove Awards and two Grammy nominations. In January 2011, the singer-songwriter was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
