Day Gardner, National Black Pro-Life Union Comments on Statements Made on the VIEW About Justin Bieber's Pro-Life Stance

WASHINGTON, Feb. 28, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by Day Gardner, President, National Black Pro-Life Union:

Recently, Justin Bieber's interview with Rolling Stone revealed his stance on pro-life issues and more, which were dismissed by "The View's" head, Barbara Walters as not "appropriate."

I could not believe it! The Vile, Vampire, View women were at it again -- spitting venom on a person, a young person at that, just because he has an opinion that differs from theirs. Justin Bieber should be applauded for not being afraid to speak his mind.

The sad thing is you won't find these women putting down Kanye West's idiotic death video that eroticizes dead women, or offensive comments made about women by other "celebrities."

Instead, they pick on someone who displays a bit of morality and character. Shame on them!

I am also pro-life...no exceptions! Rape and incest are horrible crimes where women are viciously and brutally injured both emotionally and physically. But we must remember in cases where a child is conceived, that child is completely innocent of any crime.

In most cases the offender -- if caught -- gets off after serving only a few years (or months) in jail or prison. Yet, the totally innocent child gets the death penalty! Where is the justice in that? There is something very wrong with that way of thinking.

Justin Bieber also said in the interview that he believes it's good to "wait" regarding sex. What a level headed thing to say! Yet, the View's Joy Behar expressed concern about the influence the singer's comments might have on young girls.

Are you kidding me? What kind of influence has she been to anyone -- with her foul mouth, equally foul jokes and crude attempt at humor?

I think Justin Bieber is a wonderful role model for girls -- and boys. It's important that Justin Bieber and his gazillion fans travel their own road.

Bieber, don't succumb to peer pressure -- or -- the pressure of some old ladies with a backward VIEW or maybe I should say, WIEV... yeah, that's more like it.
