LOS ANGELES, Feb. 28, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- JCTV, Trinity Broadcasting Network's (TBN) youth and action sports network, is about to embark on another ocean adventure as it films the real life expedition of the 3000 passengers aboard the Carnival Destiny for the network's Cruise with a Cause reality series.

The filming of this reality program series will be JCTV's fourth time around chronicling PraiseFest Ministries’ Cruise with a Cause. This time the passengers and crew head to Montego Bay, Jamaica, jamming and jibing with a multi-cultural slate of internationally known musicians and actors. As well, they'll be ministering to more than 200,000 children and adults in schools and public venues including JamaicaFest...a crusade for the Jamaican citizens.

"JCTV was the first youth television network to film a faith-based reality series aboard a cruise ship," says Brandon Crouch, co-founder of JCTV, and grandson of TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch. "Faith-based travel continues to expand travelers' horizons in more ways than one, and we're honored to have been asked to do another exciting Cruise with a Cause season for our viewers."

Cruise with a Cause 2011 sets sail May 30th for five action-packed days, and -- in addition to music -- the festivities will feature a long list of relaxing and faith-challenging activities. The lineup of artists from every music genre includes The Crabb Family, Donnie McClurkin, Casting Crowns, and David and Tamela Mann from the hit TBS television program Meet the Browns. A distinguished group of denominational leaders, pastors, and speakers will also be onboard the fully-chartered ship including John Hagee, Jentezen Franklin, Bishop Paul S. Morton, and Pastor Debra Morton; Josh McDowell will lead a variety of conferences.

"Cruise with a Cause efforts have made quite an impact on other countries," says Mark McCallie, vice president of programming for JCTV. "JCTV's Cruise with a Cause reality series is an opportunity for the network to present this worthy cause -- wrapped up in an wonderful, relevant adventure -- to the world."

As Carnival Destiny heads to Jamaica, JCTV's camera crew will be there to capture all the twists and turns on film. It's a cruise with a cause, without alcohol or gambling casinos; it's a down to earth, family environment, a once-in-a-lifetime mission adventure catering to singles, students, adults, and children. Cruise with a Cause is an opportunity for growth and development for all passengers who can do as much or as little as they want to; most people find they enjoy the unique perspective mission work provides.

PraiseFest is an evangelistic ministry designed to point people the world over to Christ by working with local churches. They are partnering with Inspiration Cruises & Tours to provide this exceptional travel experience. The ministry's Cruise with a Cause vacation provides Christians with an opportunity to come together from all racial, denominational, and socioeconomic backgrounds into a setting where they can share the gospel in a clear and exciting atmosphere.
