ATLANTA, Sept. 15, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Orange Conference, an event designed for entire family ministry teams, will be held April 25-27, 2012, in Atlanta. This gathering unites children and preschool leaders, student pastors and senior church leadership called to understand the changes influencing this new generation. The theme for 2012 is "Game Changers," with the premise that a game changer is an event that requires leaders to radically alter how they play, and how they adapt is their choice.

Drawing together speakers, authors, and church leaders from around the world, the group sets out to rethink the way the traditional church model approaches family ministry. The event is structured around the Orange Strategy of partnering families with the church to have a greater impact on the faith of young people, who are leaving the church at an alarming rate.

One of the unique benefits of this conference is that teams will feel like the conference is customized just for them. More than 80 distinct workshops have been created for attendees, with the freedom to pick the ones that are most relevant. The Orange Conference is also a great way for teams to grow closer while having fun together. Many attend and return each year to get realigned and reacquainted. Additionally, attendees will be equipped with innovative ideas from leaders who understand how the game is changing and are leading the church to respond, leaders who study why and how the game is changing as well as leaders in the community and workplace. And, perhaps most valuable for long-term stability, teams can leave with a shared strategy. The concepts from The Orange Conference become a common language that will guide leaders to go back and put a plan into action.

Already confirmed for 2012 are: Andy Stanley, Craig Groeschel, Reggie Joiner, Lanny Donoho, Jon Acuff, Mawi Asgedom, Sue Miller, David Kinnaman, Carey Nieuwhof, Kara Powell, Jared Herd, and Joel Manby. Dozens more will be added over the coming months.

Registration opens on September 22, 2011. For more information, please visit www.TheOrangeConference.com.
