BUDAPEST, Hungary, March 17, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Ad Librum, LLC released a title: Virágszerda in Hungarian and Palm Wednesday, in English, authored by Attila B. Magyar. Both editions are available in Hungary. Ad Librum has agreed to distribute the book's English version worldwide. Accordingly, the title Palm Wednesday was tailored to comply with US standards and now is available at Amazon, in Paperback and Kindle format, and from Barnes & Noble.

Palm Wednesday is a long-awaited response to atheists and non-Christians who claim that Jesus was a liar, and is meant to strengthen the faith of Christians believing in Jesus. This 'three days and three nights' or rather 'Tuesday crucifixion and Friday resurrection' doctrine, is wrapped up in an entertaining, humorous novel consisting entirely of dialogues, taking us back to the spring of 2005 in Budapest, Hungary. Its main protagonists, in order to win a large sum of money that has been wagered, try to find the answer to a question that has remained unanswered for almost 2,000 years: Did Jesus spend three days and three nights in the tomb, as he had foretold, or was he really only there from Friday afternoon until the early hours of Sunday morning? Some might think the question pointless and in their turn ask the question: Does it matter? After reading the story it will become clear to the reader that, yes, it really does matter!

The novel doesn't fit into any of the usual genres; it contains elements of the detective story, comedy and bible study with both fictional and non-fictional components. The fictitious story slowly becomes non-fiction, while keeping its entertaining character. It, inter alia, reveals the exact time of Jesus's birth, baptism and death, and also clarifies some perplexing biblical issues, such as the apparent discrepancy between Matthew's and Luke's Bethlehem stories.

About The Author: As a foreign sales executive, he had the chance to visit, although quite unintentionally, several major sites mentioned in the Bible.
