MOPS President Naomi Cramer Overton & Staff Help Local Families at Denver Non-Profits, Sharing the MOPS Message with Local Moms

DENVER, Colo., Dec. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Wednesday, December 9, MOPS International President Naomi Cramer Overton and staff will help Denver families as part of their staff Christmas celebration. Staff members will be completing projects at area non-profits and MOPS group locations. President Overton will be helping the MOPS group that meets at Confluence Ministries. "Our vision is to see no mom alone, so what better place to do this than in our own city at Christmastime," says Naomi Cramer Overton, President of MOPS International. Mothers of Preschoolers works to ensure No Mom is Alone by providing community and support to mothers everywhere, from all walks of life.

Confluence Ministries works to mobilize the church to reach local and global communities through practical acts of kindness and sharing. Confluence MOPS provides a monthly, mothering support group in a bilingual format to local moms. Since 1988, Providence Network has provided transformational housing programs. The Joy House is a 2-year transitional housing program that offers help and healing to low-income abused women and children who are leaving domestic violence situations and seeking to rebuild their lives. MOPS staff will be cleaning, organizing and decorating the Joy House basement and cleaning toys in the daycare.

Joshua Station provides a clean, safe and affordable home to 25 families, including 57 children, who are on the road to self-sufficiency. MOPS staff will shop for and provide necessary items to stock the food pantry and diaper closet.

Corona Presbyterian Church serves a diverse population in an urban ministry environment in the Capitol Hill area of Denver. The Corona MOPS group provides a mothering support group the first, third and fifth Friday mornings of the month.
