Through "Turn It Up," elementary and preschool children will experience these stories: Creation and The Fall of Man (Genesis 1; 3:1-24; 6:5-8), God's Promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-7; 15:1-6; 13-14; 22:1-15), The Israelites Grumble (Exodus 6:2-8; 16:2-3; 17:3; Numbers 14:2-4; I Samuel 8:1-22), Jesus Birth, Life and Death (The Gospels), Easter/The Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) and The Mission (Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 1:4-11).
This Summer XP provides everything needed for five days as well as a sixth session that can be used as a Family Experience to wrap up a week of VBS. In addition, the resource includes ideas for crafts, snacks, games and activities that will help kids build faith skills. Furthermore, Orange believes that one of the keys to reaching this generation is partnering with parents; several resources have been created to help make it easier. Finally, along with the curriculum, the "Turn It Up" CD is included to enhance the worship environment.
