CHICAGO, July 10, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Thursday, July 19, 2012, hundreds are expected to attend the Mercy in the Community Dinner to raise awareness and funds for hurting young girls ages 13-28 to receive free-of-charge residential care and counseling.
 
The public is invited to a special dinner with Mercy Ministries Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn.  The dinner will feature inspiring stories of hope and transformation from Mercy graduates and the work of Mercy Ministries. Entertainment will be provided by up-and-coming singer/song writer Katie Peltier, who also is a graduate of Mercy Ministries, a mother and an Army Wife.
