Family Institute of Connecticut Action Committee Makes Pro-Family Endorsements in State Races

Contact: Peter Wolfgang, Spokesman, Family Institute of Connecticut Action Committee, 860-548-0066

MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 28 /Christian Newswire/ -- FIC Action Committee announced its pro-family endorsements today in the elections for the Connecticut General Assembly and State Constitutional Offices. Our list of endorsements is below.

FIC Action Committee spokesman Peter Wolfgang stated, "More than ever, we need to elect pro-family candidates to the legislature and state office on November 2. In the past two years: we have seen the bitter fruit of anti-family liberalism run awry, ranging from the infamous McDonald-Lawlor proposal to unconstitutionally restructure the Catholic Church to an Obamacare health plan providing public subsidies for abortion. If anti-family candidates win, we will likely see the passage of laws coercing schools to hire "transgender" teachers and new attempts to trample traditional values and religious liberty.

"If pro-family candidates win, the assaults on faith and family can be halted -- and we can field legislation that will create a more family-friendly Connecticut. During the past three legislative sessions, FIC has achieved unprecedented victories. Victories on Election Day will help us continue this trend and create a legislative climate in which pro-family legislation can achieve passage."

The Family Institute of Connecticut Action Committee is a bi-partisan political action committee dedicated to electing pro-family candidates to our state government. We are working to encourage and strengthen the family as the foundation of society and to promote sound ethical and moral values in our culture and government. †In the 80th District, both Republican Rob Sampson and Democrat John "Corky" Mazurek scored 100% on our candidate questionnaire. Although FIC Action Committee has made no endorsement in that district, we want pro-family voters of the 80th District to know that they can vote for either candidate in good conscience.
