MISHAWAKA, Ind., Oct. 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- Family film production company Fresh Fruit Films will release a free online sneak preview of the "Fresh Fruit Pie" series on October 19th. The entire half-hour pilot episode will be available through live streaming for 48 hours on the show's website www.freshfruitpie.com.

Similar in format to "Saturday Night Live," "Fresh Fruit Pie" aims to teach positive values in a way that engages today's youth with short attention spans.

"For the most part, there are two options for entertaining kids today," says Producer Carl Obremski, "On the one hand, films that are intentionally moral tend to bore kids. On the other hand, media that excites kids can be morally unwholesome, even offensive. With Fresh Fruit Pie, we aim for the best of both worlds, offering compelling family entertainment that can be used as a platform for moral teaching."

Three weeks ago, Fresh Fruit Pie's world premiere event drew a crowd of nearly 500 attendees. Since then, Obremski has observed a steady growth of interest surrounding the group's mission.

"People are catching on to our vision," Obremski said. "After our test screenings at the premiere, parents and kids alike were jumping with excitement about the road our cast and crew have paved with Fresh Fruit Pie."

The free online sneak preview will be available through the show's website starting October 19th at 12:01AM and ending October 21st at 12:01 AM. A family guide will also be available for download to stimulate family or small group discussion after viewing.

Additional details can be found on the film's website at www.freshfruitpie.com. Carl Obremski, the film's producer, can be reached at carl@freshfruitpie.com or by phone at 574-261-6456.
