Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, states,

"We are coming together as a community of faith and justice to pray that the violence of abortion will end in America.  Our voices will be loudly heard as we affirm the dignity of all life and embrace human rights for all.

"We will especially be praying for the barbaric practice of late-term abortion to come to a screeching halt in Maryland.  It is unthinkable that viable children, who are over 7 months old, are being brutally destroyed in the shadow of our nation's Capital.

"On the eve of the 38th Memorial of the Roe v. Wade decision, it is becoming clear that Americans are growing more and more uncomfortable with abortion on demand and want to offer hope and healing to women; not despair, shame and brokenness."

Brandi Swindell, Founder of Stanton Healthcare and Generation Life, adds,

"This emerging generation is embracing a culture of life and justice for all.  Women are especially saying that human rights begin in the womb and that America must reject violence as an answer to social problems.

"We must speak out for our sisters in China who are subjected to the horror of forced abortion and 'gendercide' which reduces women to nothing more than a commodity and a piece of property.  We pray that China will end this gruesome practice and treat women with dignity and equality."
