Persons from Over 60 Nations Register for May 4th - 6th Pro-Life Rosary

MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 3, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- As of early Thursday morning (May 3rd), more than 20,000 Rosaries had been registered for the May 4th - 6th ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event. The registrations have come in from people who live in the following nations:

Indonesia, Vietnam, Canada, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Costa Rica, Slovakia, South Africa, Poland, Mexico, Malaysia, Venezuela, Chile, U.S.A., Nigeria, Wales, Argentina, Kuwait, Australia, China, Kenya, Brunei, Malta, India, Italy, Philippines, France, Malaysia, Romania, Portugal, New Zealand, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Moldova, Ukraine, Nepal, Ireland, Scotland, Bahrain, Denmark, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Trinidad, Pakistan, Switzerland, Germany, Barbados, Croatia, Sweden, Qatar, Slovenia, Latvia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Mauritius, Spain, Uganda, Austria, and Finland.

A sampling of the numerous emails received by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization includes the following:

  • A parish in Romania has confirmed that 384 Rosaries will be prayed;
     
  • A parish in the diocese of Joliet has registered close to 900 Rosaries;
     
  • One registrant for the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES indicated he would be contacting more than 200 people about the prayer event;
     
  • A monastery in the Philippines has registered to participate;
     
  • A religious sister from France and a priest from Italy both sent emails saying they will be praying the Rosary for the unborn babies;
     
  • 24 Rosaries will be prayed at an assisted living center in Louisiana;
     
  • A prayer group from Wales will be participating;
     
  • Students from a medical college in India are registered to participate;
     
  • In Alabama, a Ladies Auxilary of the Knights of Columbus has registered 130 Rosaries;
     
  • 63 Rosaries are to be prayed by a family in Arkansas and 25 Rosaries are to be prayed by a family in Colorado;
     
  • Approximately 3,000 Rosaries have been registered by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
