MEDIA ADVISORY, Jan. 28, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- "The Fourth Kingdom", the first novel by Joyce and Alexandra Swann, was selected as one of four finalists in the 2011 Christianity Today Book Awards in the fiction category. "Christianity Today" received 427 titles representing 62 publishers for consideration for the 2011 book awards. The 2011 Book award winners were announced January 28, 2011.
"The Fourth Kingdom" was the only self-published finalist in the fiction category. Alexandra and Joyce Swann originally wrote "The Fourth Kingdom" more than 20 years ago, and in 2010 they published the novel through their own imprint, Frontier 2000 Media Group.
Both Alexandra and Joyce are nationally known in the homeschooling community as authors and speakers. Alexandra is the author of "No Regrets: How Homeschooling Earned me a Master's Degree at Age Sixteen," first published in 1989.
