MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bill Keller, the world's leading internet evangelist and founder of Liveprayer.com, lambasted Pastor Rick Warren - author of The Purpose Driven Life - for giving President-elect Barack Hussein Obama credibility by agreeing to deliver the invocation at Obama's upcoming inauguration.

In his Tuesday, December 23, 2008 Daily Devotional - read by over 2.4 million opt-in subscribers - Keller states that the only way Warren should appear is to pray for this nation to turn back to the God of the Bible, condemn this culture of death and all who support it, proclaim that God's plan in the Bible for marriage and family is the foundation of our culture, and invite President-elect Obama and all who do not know Jesus to ask the Lord to forgive their sins, and accept him as their personal savior.

Keller finds it ironic that the homosexual community is so upset with Warren giving the invocation. While Pastor Warren supported Proposition 8, his backing came just days before the election, after he was shamed into it by those brave men and women who championed that stand in California for God's holy institution of marriage.

In August, Keller spoke out on the hypocrisy of Warren hosting the presidential debate at his suburban Los Angeles Saddleback Church. The event was co-sponsored by the liberal social justice group Faith in Public Life, whose board president, Meg Riley, is a Unitarian Universalism minister who previously ran the denomination's homosexual advocacy office.

Keller says that Warren's compromise and questionable associations are all part of his desire to pursue a global social agenda. Keller supports the social issues Warren seeks to champion, but not at the expense of compromising the Gospel, and laying aside Bible absolutes.

"For Pastor Rick Warren to bless and give the invocation at the upcoming inauguration for a man who will help ensure millions of babies around the world are slaughtered - and force U.S. taxpayers to fund this legalized infanticide - is no different than if Adolph Hitler had asked Warren to give the blessing and invocation when he became Chancellor of Germany," laments Keller.
