CARROLLTON, Texas, Dec. 9, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- Most church members spend more time at the mall in December than they do in church. How can a pastor challenge his members before they lose themselves in the commercialism of the season? The staff at Gospel for Asia has produced four free videos that may help.

"Forgotten Christmas" is a series of artistic, animated videos that give pastors, small group leaders and youth ministers something new and unique to play on a Sunday morning. The message tackles the interference of consumerism with what should be a season of praise and worship to God for sending His Son Jesus. Each of the videos highlights a different aspect of society's habits during Christmas.

Churches can use the videos in a variety of creative ways. Pastors may build sermons around each segment or simply show them for fun to open the heart of an audience to the sad reality of what Christmas has become.

The "Stockings of Debt" video focuses on exuberant spending. "Living in a Snow Globe" emphasizes needs in the local community. "Merry Forgotten Christmas" highlights needs on a global level. The motion graphic version of "2.7 Billion People without Christ," is a compelling global snapshot of the lost.
