CAROL STREAM, Ill., Feb. 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christianity Today International (CTI), a non-profit communications ministry, will be donating proceeds from February 11 through February 28 to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) and their Haiti response efforts.

CTI is using social media--like Facebook and Twitter--and word-of-mouth, to increase visibility of the Christian relief organization that "strives to eliminate starvation in children throughout the world by helping to instill compassion in people to hear and respond to the cries of those in need."

According to Feed My Starving Children, when the earthquake hit Haiti on January 12, 3 million FMSC meals were already on the ground with their Haiti-based mission partners. Since the earthquake hit, 6 million meals have been shipped to Haiti from FMSC warehouses. Now, 5 million additional meals are needed by March 1.

"Our marketing team felt compelled to respond to the Haiti earthquake in some way," explains. Cory Whitehead, Marketing and Product Development Manager at CTI. "With many of our staff involved with Feed My Starving Children's food-packing ministry, and knowing that FMSC has a long presence in Haiti, it sounded like the perfect connection." The Feed My Starving Children donation from CTI will be based on several factors:

1.       Donating 25% of the proceeds for any 10 Bible Studies downloaded at ChristianBibleStudies.com: http://bit.ly/byd5jH

2.       Donating 25% of the proceeds for all new BuildingChurchLeaders.com downloads over the time period, including this first new download:   A Guide for Pastoral Visitation: http://bit.ly/d4TVS7

3.       For every new subscriber to any of the seven Church Administration e-newsletters, we'll donate $1.00: http://bit.ly/c1m5ld

A Facebook Event has also been created to update those interested about what Feed My Starving Children is doing in Haiti and further explains how Christianity Today International is helping: http://bit.ly/9BEdNS
