MISHAWAKA, Ind., July 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- Production company Fresh Fruit Films will release its first DVD for the Christian kids series "Fresh Fruit Pie" on October 5, 2010.

The new series is a resource for parents and childrens' pastors to help kids build good attitudes through Biblical values. It presents moral challenges in a variety of live-action skits using a format similar to the hit TV show "Saturday Night Live."

Each episode in the 9-part DVD series will focus on a "Fruit of the Spirit" theme found in Galatians 5:22: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Fresh Fruit Pie's first episode, entitled "Party," centers on 'Joy.'
