CAROL STREAM, Ill., June 02, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christianity Today International (CTI) is pleased to announce the launch of a dramatically redesigned college website, ChristianCollegeGuide.net, in partnership with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).

The website embodies CTI and CCCU's vision and commitment to the growing needs of Christian families in the college search process. The site includes CCCU's 111 North American member schools in its search database, along with expanded information on each school, enhanced school search and compare features, rich content for parents and teens navigating the college search process, plus numerous ways to connect with and request information from schools. The fully upgraded site went live on May 23, 2011.

ChristianCollegeGuide.net was created to assist college-bound students and their families in the search for Christian higher education. The site welcomes visitors with bold new colors, a clean uncluttered design, and it provides tools and resources to find and connect with Christian colleges and universities, plus expert, trustworthy content on the college search and preparation process. It features hundreds of free articles on Preparing for College, Paying for College, and Life at College, all written from a Christian perspective.

"We are pleased to partner with the CCCU to advance the cause of Christian education by offering even more relevant school information and features to our users," said Harold Smith, President and CEO of Christianity Today International. "Prospective college students and their parents will find this site to be a dynamic and useful tool in their search for a Christian college or university."

"By partnering with a highly-respected and well-known organization like Christianity Today, the Council is providing families and students considering Christian higher education with a reliable and trustworthy resource to help them find a quality institution that is a good fit for them," said Paul Corts, President of the CCCU. "We believe students and their families will find this a great resource in identifying Christ-centered institutions that match their wishes as they are seeking the Lord's leading in choosing a college or university."
