HAMPTON, Va., Jan. 18, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- International Cooperating Ministries (ICM), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to nurture believers and assist Church growth worldwide, has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Stiff as its new president. Geof is former senior vice president for the Retirement and Protection segment of Genworth Financial in Richmond, Va., and has more than 35 years of experience in finance, management and product development. He has served ICM as a board member since 2006 and as chair for the Finance Committee since 2007. He serves as an Elder at Third Presbyterian Church in Richmond.

"It's an exciting time for ICM as the ministry celebrates all that God has done over the past 25 years. I feel privileged to have the chance to lead the ministry at this time and look forward to all that will entail," said Geof. "My discipleship path, my heart for missions, and my love for Mini Bible College give me a passion for what God is doing through ICM. The timing could be nothing less than God-directed."

Speaking on behalf of ICM's Board of Directors, Executive Chair Janice Rosser Allen says: "We are thrilled that Geof will be joining ICM to serve as our next president. Geof comes with a wealth of executive and management experience which we know will strengthen the leadership of the ministry. This year, ICM celebrates our 25th anniversary, and Geof will be instrumental in helping guide and direct us into the future and our next 25 years!"
