WHEELING, W.Va., May 4, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Chrisagis Brothers are finally having their Release Party for their amazing new CD "Ransom." The CD is being nominated for a Grammy for next February and has been receiving some amazing reviews and attention. All songs on the CD were written by Christian Music's greatest songwriter Bob Farrell from the 70's & 80's legendary pioneer's of Christian Contemporary Music Farrell & Farrell (F&F was a duo team with Bob & his lovely wife Jayne Farrell). The CD Release will be held in Wheeling, West Virginia at C3 Church 250 Bethany Pike (bottom of Oglebay Hill) and will be on Sunday May 22nd at 6:00 pm with free admission.
Emmy award-winning actress Lindsay Wagner will be making a special appearance to introduce the Chrisagis Brothers and their guests Farrell & Farrell. She will also participate in a Q&A session with the audience. Lindsay first came to prominence as a result of her iconic portrayal of Jaime Sommers in her Emmy award-winning role as The Bionic Woman. She also won a permanent place in the hearts of audiences around the world and became one of the most popular actresses in international television. Once The Bionic Woman series had ended Lindsay went on to become the Queen of television movies with over 40 TV movies, 5 mini-series and, in addition, 12 feature films to her name.
Legendary Duo "Farrell & Farrell" will also be giving a concert of their own plus singing with the Chrisagis Brothers on a few songs from the "Ransom" CD. The Farrell's have not done concerts for the past 15 years so this is going to be a night to remember for all who attend. The Chrisagis Brothers say this is a true 'God Thing' to them because Farrell & Farrell inspired the Brothers to go into Christian Music. "They were to us what The Carpenters or The Beatles were to so many who grew up with their music. Their Music empowered us and truly changed our lives for the better and they themselves are just as inspiring as their music." says the Chrisagis Brothers. The Brothers are excited to finally be on stage with their inspirations plus being with one of their favorite leading actresses (Lindsay Wagner). Next on the Brothers busy plate is a documentary on their lives, a feature film called "Double Take" with Warren Marcus and they are in talks with Tobin Kirk for their own TV Reality Series.
