The Prison is a dramatic look at the lives of three strangers cast into prison with no explanation and seemingly no hope for release. The stage play delves into the life of Wesley Cole (a man facing the rest of his life behind bars) and the series of events that led to his imprisonment. After years in solitude, he meets two new prisoners who help him rediscover what it means to have hope.
Written and directed by Derrick Sample, The Prison cast includes Gary Powers, Katrina Potts, Steve McKiddy, Kris Banks, Laura Powers, Threasa White, and Tommy Manning. It also introduces newcomers to The ALC Players' stage: Mary Blasingame, Aundre Blasingame, and Daphryne BeDair.
The ALC Drama Players are a theatre group funded in part by Abundant Life Church, a non-profit organization based in Plano, TX.
