MEDIA ADVISORY, March 25, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- When a preview of Malibu Nanny: Adventures of the Kardashian Nanny was released this past summer, it was touted as a tell-all that would reveal the Kardashian family's secrets. The interest in Pam Behan's (photo) story was overwhelming: the ebook sneak peak was viewed over seven million times. Now, Pam is back to reveal the truth in the extended version of Malibu Nanny, now available in Kindle e-book and paperback formats exclusively on Amazon.com.

Pam's book details the excitement, challenges, and life-changing experiences with Hollywood's now famous family. Pam, who grew up in a small town in Minnesota, spent three years as the full-time nanny for Brandon and Brody Jenner before becoming the nanny for Kourtney (12), Kim (10), Khloe (6), and Robert (4) Kardashian.

"I never intended to betray the members of the Jenner or Kardashian families," says Pam, "And I didn't. But it's interesting how the mainstream media tried to spin the story to make it as scandalous as possible." Because of the negative experience with some members of the press and realizing the publishing world wanted "more secrets" to try to sell as many books as possible, Pam and her co-author and lifelong best friend, Sara Christenson, who are both committed followers of Christ, decided to take matters into their own hands. They formed their own publishing company, Minnesota Girls Press, and self published their book.

With the pressure off to make it more juicy, Pam realized God wanted her to share her testimony in Malibu Nanny. Pam was raised as a Christian, but during her years as a nanny in Hollywood, she drifted from God. She left Los Angeles to move to Tennessee, and, after a divorce, found out she was pregnant and the father of her child was a drug addict and on the run from police. Depression and desperate unhappiness followed until she finally recommitted her life to Christ, discovering a real, deep relationship with Jesus.

Pam shares in the book, "As the reality of life hit me in my late thirties -- failures, deep hurts, disappointments, searing losses, blessings and miracles -- I transitioned to a real, intimate relationship with God. And, over the last few years, I've become completely and utterly reliant on Him. Life can be really hard sometimes. I can't imagine suffering through the tragedies and difficult seasons I've experienced without God, or without the knowledge that there's something bigger and better for all of us than this life we're living now. Knowing God and believing in Heaven places my focus on the important things -- family, friends, relationships, loving and helping people, caring about one another, and making the right decisions when it really counts."

Pam's 227-page memoir (which includes all new material and pictures) gives readers insight into life as a Hollywood nanny, her encounters with celebrities (including dating Sylvester Stallone at the height of his Rocky and Rambo fame), the Jenner Kardashian family's ups and downs, and her thoughts about their current fame and fortune.

An audio version of Malibu Nanny read by Pam Behan is set to be released in late April. In addition, a music cd of piano songs performed by Pam Behan will be released soon. The CD was inspired by her time with the Jenners and Kardashians and includes some of their favorite songs, as well as music mentioned in the book. The CD will be distributed through INgrooves Fontana.

Today, Pam lives in South Dakota with her 6-year-old son, and she works as a substitute teacher for elementary and high school kids.
