COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 8, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- Purposeful Design Publications is officially launching its third edition of the popular spelling textbook series and renaming it "Spelling Plus" to reflect the added academic value it brings compared to previous editions. According to Steve Babbitt, Vice President of Purposeful Design Publications, "This series for Grades 1-6 provides so much more than just spelling. It incorporates grammar, writing, genres of writing and literature, Greek and Latin roots and more." Babbitt also mentioned that the series "easily incorporates into any language program and integrates a biblical worldview throughout the lesson plans."

Each grade level is themed—creating fresh learning—and offers a 5-day systematic approach. Initial teacher response to the series has been positive due to the teacher edition's ease of use and flexibility. A review posted by Cindy Hall in Alabama stated that, "Spelling Plus is exactly what we were searching for. The books are logically organized by how to spell sounds of English. Spelling lists are a good combination. [It is] a well-thought-out spelling curriculum."

Both the Purposeful Design Publications Spelling Plus series teacher edition and student edition for grades 1-6 are available for purchase at purposefuldesign.com.
