Who: Dr. Andrea Walker is an associate professor for behavioral sciences at ORU and an expert in addictions and family studies. Walker is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the state of Oklahoma and has worked with children, adolescents, and families who are considered to be "at risk."

What: As another new year approaches, many people are beginning to take a long look at themselves and their lives to determine what changes they would like to make. Some of the more common resolutions include losing weight and better time and personal finance management. But what about some of the more serious problems that people may be dealing with?

Walker has extensive expertise in the area of addictions and how these affect both the addict and the addict's loved ones.
