CAROL STREAM, Ill., Jan. 14 /Christian Newswire/ -- RoundTripMissions.com, a website designed to help equip short-term mission teams for effective service, has released an online Fundraising Tool that churches can easily set up today to raise funds for Haiti's earthquake victims.

On January 12, 2010, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti--destroying the capital city of Port-au-Prince, spinning off dozens of aftershocks, and reportedly killing tens of thousands of people. RoundTripMissions.com, a not-for-profit ministry of Christianity Today International, encourages churches to find reputable relief organizations and mission agencies working in Haiti and donate to them.

Churches that need an easy and quick way to raise additional funds among their congregations should consider the online Fundraising Tool located on the site:

With customizable fundraising pages, churches can add their own images, background, text, and details about where the funds will be sent in Haiti. A webpage can be set up immediately, and a link is generated that can be shared at an upcoming worship service, on a church’s website, blog, or in newsletters and bulletins.

RoundTripMissions.com editor, Drew Dyck says, "While this Fundraising Tool was developed and just released specifically for short-term mission trips, we feel like there's an immediate application for churches to use the tool to raise funds for Haiti. Church leaders are already reflecting on how their church can help with this tragedy, and we hope the tool makes it easier for them to put together an efficient and effective plan."
