LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- Today's teens and tweens often have academics, extracurricular activities, family, and friends competing for equal time - with little room left for them to tackle the dreams that really make them tick. Thanks to a goal-planning workshop offered by Professional Communicator and Productivity Enthusiast Sheréa VéJauan, youth ages 10-17 will learn how to manage their daily to-do list with enough time left to reach their most vital ambitions.

The Aspire Goal Planning Workshop is set for Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at Maranatha Community Church, located at 3800 Martin Luther King Blvd in Los Angeles.

VéJauan, also a children and family advocate who has successfully worn many hats professionally and personally, said she was inspired to offer the workshop after seeing the benefit yearly goal setting as a family had for her own pre-teen through college-aged children.

The workshop - sponsored by VeJauan 365, Soul Media, and Got It Like That Photography - allows youth and their families to:

• Discover simple and effective tools to reach specific goals

• Overcome stress by creating life balance in 8 or more areas

• Apply tested planning principles and productivity techniques

• Leave with practical wisdom that will assist them now, and in the future

"When it comes to homework and sports, I find that most kids have little problem setting goals," notes VéJauan. "However, kids, as well as adults need balance with goal setting. The Aspire Goal Setting Workshop will help create that stability in several areas, including financial, physical health, and personal development."

Space is limited. There is a $25 material fee. For more information or to register, visit www.vejauan365.com/aspire or register at aspire2011.eventbrite.com.
