ABILENE, Texas, June 25, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Controversial "ex-gay" ministry, Exodus International, created a stir Thursday after announcing the organization was shutting down. The announcement came a day after a letter from director Alan Chambers was released, apologizing for the "pain and hurt" caused by the organization's "gay cure" policies. As founder and director of CenterPeace, a ministry which offers safe places for those who experience same-sex attraction, Sally Gary has known from years of experience that her attractions would not go away simply through prayer.

"Talking with countless individuals and families over the years has confirmed there are no 'one-size-fits-all' answers," says Sally. "What's needed in our families -- and in our churches -- is a safe place for conversations. Rather than providing "cookie-cutter" answers as to why someone experiences same-sex attraction and how to "make it go away," "Loves God, Likes Girls" simply explores one woman's perspective on the multitude of experiences over a lifetime that impact the development of sexuality.
