SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 21, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christians believe that Barack Obama is going against Scripture to invite homosexual "pastors" to pray and give a "sermon" for the USA. However, to bring God's blessings to Americans, Pastor Steven Andrew gives a Biblical prayer for the USA that George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would approve.

Father,
You, the LORD, are the God of the USA and Americans are Your people.
As George Washington and Abraham Lincoln said: It is the duty of all nations to obey Your will and to recognize the just government of Almighty God. Americans love You with all our hearts and covenant that Jesus Christ is Lord of the USA.
Jesus said a wise man builds on Your Word. Agreeing with Jesus, Americans acknowledge: The Holy Bible is the Rock on which our Republic rests -- as Andrew Jackson said.
You promise to bless those nations who obey Your Word.
Give Americans Christian love.
We repent of all sin. We serve You only. We welcome You to all government, schools, courts and military. As First Chief Justice John Jay said we promise to "select and prefer Christians" for our leaders.
