MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 14, 2010 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Almighty Bible multimedia book series brings essential books from the Bible to life in a way that connects with the media-driven youth of today. Using graphic novels (fastest growing book format for young people) and mobile apps, the stories are presented in a way never before possible. "Exodus" is the second book in the series that is enthusiastically endorsed by an advisory board filled with respected youth ministers, leading educators, and even the producer of X-Men. "The visuals are intriguing and enhance the written story. I look forward to the next ones, especially on my iPad," says Ralph Winter (producer of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Star Trek)

In dramatic illustrated layouts supported by a story directly edited from the original Exodus, the readers and players go on a journey with Moses. This famous man grows up from the reeds of a river to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. Only, however, by acting as the hand of God. In Exodus, young readers will witness God’s selection of Moses, the devastation caused by the plagues, the Passover, and the crossing of the Red Sea. The books have been sold into many of the top Christian book stores in America, such as Mardel and Family. The "Exodus" book will hit the shelves just in time for that last Christmas gift or stocking stuffer, and they are available now on Amazon.

The Almighty Bible series is edited by Kevin O'Donnell, creator and coproducer of PBS's multiple Emmy-nominated Liberty's Kids, and executive produced by Dong Chung, co-executive producer of the special DVD Adventures in Odyssey. The Almighty Bible books and mobile apps are published by Apple of the Eye.

Apple of the Eye, a company founded on Christian principles, is publishing the project with a goal to connect with a new generation of Bible readers. Daniel Park, CEO, states, "I strongly believe that the Almighty Bible series will help to strengthen relationships between parents and children while they spend time reading God's word."

The first two books in the series, "Genesis" and "Exodus," are available now at many fine retailers and by visiting thealmightybible.com. To view images from the series please visit thealmightybible.com/en/artwork-gallery.
