MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- This website was created after having adopted 2 children that had never heard the Word of God. My 2 adoptive children were not interested in learning about the Word of God. All they really wanted to do was play electronic games. One night, I actually had a dream where a large broom was sweeping out electronic bible games to children all over the world. The children from every country reached out and grabbed a Bible game. At the end of the dream, the children came together and were playing the Bible games.

This was the beginning of creating something fun and exciting for children everywhere to learn God's Word. The games also needed to have great graphics. I finally decided to put the Bible games on-line so that children everywhere would have a chance to play with them. Building a game and a website was expensive. I had to start somewhere so I decided to start with one, familiar Bible story. The first game is the story of "Noah's Ark". The Ark and animals were created with great graphics that children will enjoy.

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." As parents it is our job to train our children to love and respect God and others. How do we do this? By teaching our children the Word of God and teaching them to hide the word in their hearts. God tells us how to teach our children in Deuteronomy 11:19. "Teach them (God's Word) to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Wow, this can be an overwhelming task when children are used to playing such high tech electronic toys. I hope this website helps you on your journey to teach your children the word of God. You will also find inspirational stories about life struggles and how God can use them to Glorify Him in the Resource section of Sweeptheword.com. The Resources section has a page called KIDS IN THE KITCHEN. This page is to encourage parents to teach their children how to cook with recipes and ideas.
