616 Churches Signed On to Carry Rosenberg's 9/11 Town Hall Webcast

CAROL STREAM, Ill., Sept. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Churches throughout North America continue to sign up for Joel C. Rosenberg's live webcast national town hall slated for Friday, September 11. Thus far, 616 congregations have agreed to carry the webcast town hall on "The Threat of Radical Islam and the Church's Response" as a special event in their churches this Friday night. Radio host Janet Parshall, of Salem Radio's "Janet Parshall's America," will to emcee the evening's program which includes a 30-minute preview of Rosenberg's new documentary "Inside the Revolution," and a Q&A with "New York Times" bestselling author Joel C. Rosenberg and Lt. Gen. (ret.) Jerry Boykin, former deputy undersecretary of defense intelligence and founding member of Delta Force.

Webcasting live from Calvary Chapel Philadelphia from 7:00-9:00 pm EDT, the program will be carried live on the Total Living Network (TLN) and affiliate stations, reaching 10 million households and available 24/7 on the World Wide Web. In addition, the INSP network and NRB Network will air the event on a future date to be determined. To date, 750 radio stations are confirmed to broadcast the program in either live or a delayed format.

The evening's line-up includes Tom Doyle, author of two books on Israel and the Middle East, and revivalist Hormoz Shariat, a former radical Shia Muslim who became a follower of Jesus Christ after the Iranian Revolution, now has a Christian satellite ministry seen by 7-9 million Iranians every weekday night, and has been called the "Billy Graham of Iran."
