ATLANTA, Nov. 28, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Thousands of orphans, boys and girls living in group homes, and youth detention centers will receive a ray of hope and joy this holiday season due to the relentless service and ministry of Grace International Inc. Grace International Inc., and its church partners and volunteers, will hold their annual Children's Christmas Parties on December 12- 15, 2012 for children who without their ministry may never know the joy of Christmas.

Since 1997, Grace International has hosted these Christian Christmas parties for thousands of Haitian children in need. The four day event will take place at different sites throughout Haiti. Grace Intl. provides the children with toys, food, puppet shows that depict the birth of Christ, and musical performances to inspire their young hearts to understand and know the true meaning of Christmas.

Many of these children come from the some of the poorest cities in Haiti, and would not experience the gift of love, toys and music without the generosity and commitment Grace International has to the children of Haiti.

The Christmas Party idea is a dream fulfilled by the founders and leaders of Grace International, Bishop Joel Jeune and his wife Doris. Doris was born to parents who not were able to raise or care for her, at five days old she was put up for adoption at an orphanage and ended up being adopted by the woman who ran it.

"One year when I was at the orphanage we were bussed to a rented soccer field where an American evangelist named Nick Grewick hosted a Christmas outreach for thousands of Haitian children," say Doris Jeune. "The feeling of sheer joy that happened on that day was instilled in my heart as a young child. I lived in an orphanage where we could not afford gifts of any kind, and often times had to share food. I prayed that one day, I would be able to share that same kind of joy I experienced with other children in Haiti."

Through Grace International, the Jeune's work diligently to raise additional funds for their Christmas outreach. While they have been blessed throughout the years to serve thousands of children, there is always a need for more resources so they can reach more children.

"We always trust that God will provide, but we continue to pray for help and donations for this immense project," says Bishop Joel Jeune.

Donations can be made directly to the Christmas for Haiti Children project by going online to www.graceintl.org or by calling the ministry directly at 305-231-1117 or email grace@graceintl.org. Volunteers can also contact the organization to inquire as to what their current volunteer needs are.
