The event takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Pelican Preserve Country Club in Fort Myers, Fla.

Ten finalists, who were selected from over 60 nominees in the five-county region, will be honored. The overall winner will be announced live during the banquet and receives a $1,000 award, a custom diamond pin created by Southwest Florida's Diamond District plus a Sky Angel set-top box and subscription service.

Sky Angel will film the live event for later broadcast on their television channel, Angel Two. Angel Two is one of over 70 channels available to Sky Angel IPTV subscribers and also to those who receive programming through the DISH Network.

The evening includes entertainment from local Christian schools including Southwest Florida Christian Academy and Fort Myers Christian School, plus keynote speaker Tamra Nashman will provide an uplifting and motivating talk for the audience of educators, business leaders and ministries.
