'Building A Culture of Life and A Civilization of Love' Conference, World Congress of Families Regional Event in Trinidad, June 14-15

ROCKFORD, Ill., May 23, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Second World Congress of Families Caribbean Conference -- "Building A Culture of Life and A Civilization of Love" -- is scheduled for June 14-15 at The Learning Resource Centre, University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad.  The conference is co-sponsored with the Elpis Centre, Trinidad and CARIFAM (Caribbean Centre for Family & Human Rights) as conference partners.

Leadership training will be provided by Miguel Moreno of the Washington, D.C. Leadership Institute. The conference will also feature a series of workshops, including "Sex Education and the Family" and "International Law, Human Rights and Religious Freedom."

Registration for the two-day conference is $400 TT ($65US) until May 31st and thereafter $600.00 TT ($94US).

Last year, Mrs. Ali-Gouveia and her team organized WCF's First Caribbean Conference, "Stabilizing Our Future; the Caribbean Conference on Life and Family Values," also in Port of Spain, April 27-28, 2012.  More than 200 participated in the conference, which was addressed by 16 local and international speakers.
