PORTLAND, Ore., May 12, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- All God's Children International (AGCI), announces the launch of a new outreach program to Haiti. With the extreme poverty in Haiti, children are often overlooked. AGCI's mission trips to the struggling nation will collaborate with several organizations, orphanages and schools to bring support, encouragement and hope to the most neglected and vulnerable children.

"On my last visit to Haiti, my heart ached as I breathed in the brokenness before me," said Hollen Frazier, AGCI's Executive Director. "It is exciting to have plans in place to put people directly in the country who can make a difference for these children that are living without hope."

AGCI will begin the Haiti mission program with three trips, scheduled for August, September and October, traveling to assist the children at the Gift of God Orphanage. The teams will be bringing the love of Jesus to the fifty orphans in the orphanage by cleaning, preparing meals, teaching English, playing sports and doing craft activities with the children. As the new ministry in Haiti develops, AGCI is in the planning stages to open a Hannah's Hope orphanage in the country.

Mission trips are scheduled for individuals to join or for groups from churches, schools or other service groups. Complete details are available online at www.AllGodsChildren.org.
