HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 13, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Children across the United States will be dressing up for Halloween. More and more churches have decided to participate in the celebration through trunk or treats and alternative Halloween festivals.

Trunk or treats offers a safe place for children to dress up and trick or treat. Church members park their decorated cars in the parking lot and hand out candy from their trunk. In addition to the trunk or treat, many churches also provide food, music, hay rides and haunted trails. Members hand out candy, information about their church and a message of love and hope.

Memory Cross has developed an Origami style card for Christians to use at Halloween. It starts with the question "What could be better than free candy?" The answer? God's love. The tract goes onto explain that Jesus' unconditional love will be with us long after the candy is gone.

Memory Cross has found that Christians are looking for a fun, creative way to share their faith at Halloween. The unique origami design of the card catches the attention of children and adults, while the message provides life and hope to those who read it.

The amazing thing about this card says Mike Vitamvas, partner in Memory Cross, is that people just can't put it down. The design literally captures their attention in a way that normal cards just can't.

Memory Cross has developed a series of cards for Halloween including tracts that have links to Need Him, which is a website that helps people wanting to know more about a relationship with Christ. There are also cards where churches can imprint a custom message or invitation. In this age it is getting harder to capture a child’s attention, but the Memory Cross card does it in an amazing way. As children fold through the card over and over again, the message of God's love is shared.
