YORBA LINDA, Calif., Dec. 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- A recent online auction sponsored by California nonprofit organization With This Ring brought together two grieving women through acts of radical generosity. One woman had bought a ring to remember the baby she lost. She had named the ring "Elijah" in remembrance of the child. Later, she donated that ring to With This Ring, where Susan Clary found it at the online auction and decided to give it as a gift to her sister who had lost a baby and was never again able to have children.

Ali Eastburn, founder of With This Ring says, "All our rings tell a story, but in this case, the two situations matched so closely, I can only call it a God thing. Through the process of radical giving, lives are being touched."

With this Ring holds online auctions to sell rings that were donated by our generous champions all over the world. The proceeds go toward promoting radical giving and drilling clean water wells in African villages. Eastburn says, "It's wonderful to see a ring make the full circle from the giver to the ring recipient, and finally to providing clean water in an African village. As a champion of the cause of radical giving, Susan has bought several rings from the online auctions, helping the rings to finish the goal of providing clean water to those who need it. Through this experience, Susan is now offering her talents in marketing and some jewelry of her own to With This Ring."

Another online auction with the theme of the twelve days of Christmas is going to run December 7-18 and can be accessed at www.withthisring.cmarket.com. Each day, for twelve days, there will be a featured ring of the day which can be viewed on the With This Ring blog withthisring.wordpress.com.

With This Ring was founded two years ago by Ali Eastburn. Since then, she says, "I've seen an astonishing wave of generosity. Men and women are truly changing the world through acts of radical giving." So far, the charity has provided clean water to over 20,000 people in Africa, helping villages to eliminate many of the illnesses and problems caused by a lack of clean drinking water.
