To be presented on Thursday, May 19, in New York City, the Christopher Awards have, since 1949, annually saluted media that "affirm the highest values of the human spirit."
 
This prestigious award marks an important milestone for the book, originally published in March 2010. Since its release, the public has embraced the time-tested Jesuit wisdom that Martin has distilled in The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything, propelling it onto the New York Times bestseller list.
