GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- On April 6, 2010, Theodore C. Eachus and Genesis 12 Productions filed a lawsuit alleging copyright infringement against Sky Angel U.S., LLC, Sky Angel Holdings, Inc. and Dominion Video Satellite, Inc. d/b/a Sky Angel. The Complaint for Copyright Infringement was filed in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, Greenville Division.

Theodore C. Eachus authored and produced an original high-definition digital film entitled "The Last Miracle." Mr. Eachus registered the film and the original screenplay from which the film is derived with the U.S. Copyright Office at the Library of Congress. Genesis 12 Productions was granted exclusive licenses to "The Last Miracle", film and screenplay.

"The Last Miracle" is a dramatic Christian film inspired by the story of Lazarus from the Bible.

Sky Angel is engaged in providing Christian and family themed video and television services which include video-on-demand transmission and subscription television programming by satellite and over the internet (IPTV). Subscribers pay a monthly fee for video and television services.

The Complaint alleges that Sky Angel has been offering "The Last Miracle" film to their customers via broadcast on Sky Angel Two and video-on-demand transmission beginning in 2007 and continuing to date.

The lawsuit also seeks damages to recover lost business, lost revenue and lost sales resulting from the unauthorized use and transmission of "The Last Miracle" by Sky Angel.
