SOUTH BEND, Ind., Dec. 3 /Christian Newswire/ -- Jennifer Beckham appeared on The Harvest Show, an internationally syndicated Christian talk show, to encourage women around the world that their destiny is at hand and it is still attainable--if they would first learn to "get over themselves!"

In her first of two appearances on The Harvest Show, Beckham echoed the very principles that she lays out in her new book, "Get Over Yourself!: 7 Principles To Get Over Your 'Self' and On With Your Destiny", to implore women who are--as she once was--stuck in the potholes of life and caught up in the issues of "self" to get up, dust themselves off, and realize that, no matter what their past or present may hold, there is still good reason to hope for their future.

Although Beckham's first non-fiction book, "Get Over Yourself", is based on her experience working as a "face character" portraying the various "Princess" characters for Disney, it is, in fact, a biblical teaching that leads women of all ages on their own personal journey to discover freedom from the shame, pain, fear, insecurities, and the faulty mindsets that so easily deter them from finding their true purpose and embracing life to the fullest.
