SPRINGFIELD, Va., July 17, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Apparently what many traditional and denominational churches have been preaching about God, Jesus, and salvation misses the mark of what the Bible really says. Global Truth Ministries, a new congregation in Springfield, VA aims to correct that. While they recognize that those churches have been well intended, their rendition of the "good news" does not accurately convey what the Bible really says and what it means.
Too much of the emphasis of traditional churches has been what disqualifies someone from being accepted and loved by God, rather than what the Bible says that Christ did to qualify them. This is one reason why even many Christians no longer attend church.
Global Truth Ministries has created a very informal, casual church environment with a truly multicultural flair. By digging deeply into the meaning of scripture they hope to provide a practical and clear understanding of how the unconditional love of God applies to all of our daily activities from parenting to being successful at work.
