Taking Children Out in Droves: Parents Forsake Public Schools to Head Home for Education

Contact: Jeramy Anderson, Anderson Music and Home School Ministries, 770-842-9999

ATLANTA, June 13, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- A third day of pre-trial hearings took place today in the case of 35 Atlanta educators accused of cheating. After months of investigative work into one of America's most widespread cheating scandals, officials are becoming desperate. CBS News Atlanta reports, "Some lawyers, including those representing former Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Beverly Hall, want a judge to toss the case out."

The pressure is on, and, as these types of scandals increase in frequency and visibility throughout the nation, many parents continue to take education into their own hands.

The nation has reached a breaking point, as Susan Berry on Breitbart.com, reported just a few days ago: "Education News states that, since 1999, the number of children who are homeschooled has increased by 75%. [T]he number of children whose parents choose to educate them at home ... is growing seven times faster than the number of children enrolling in grades K-12 every year."

Many parents who would like to homeschool, however, are still on the fence and continue to have questions about how and if they can even do it. For this reason, Jeramy and Meggan Anderson have written an easy-to-navigate book that will prove insightful, encouraging, and convicting for anyone considering home education, making the transition, struggling to endure, or simply desiring further nuggets of truth in an already thriving homeschool community. This compelling volume lays a bold foundation for homeschooling while also offering powerful logistical and financial solutions.

But some may ask, "What if my children are already grown up? Is it to late?" "Definitely not," says Jeramy. This book is an invaluable comprehensive resource that, he says, "will become a great tool in raising the next generation. Join and help others who have decided that it's time to take children out of the government indoctrination temples and stay out for good!"

Jeramy holds a M.Div. in Biblical & Theological Studies from Southern Seminary and a B.S. in Political Science with a Spanish Minor from The US Air Force Academy. Meggan received her M.M. on Violin from Southern Seminary and her B.A. in Music from George Mason University. They have four young children.
