ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 3, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- A food movement is taking place right here in Florida.  People are bypassing the traditional grocery store and saving money by buying their food direct through churches and non-profit organizations in their community.  Gaballi, LLC, a Florida faith based non-denominational organization, works with churches, schools, the media, and non-profit organizations to help get affordable top quality fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken, beef and fish, as well as nutritional fully prepared meals direct to the people.  There are currently over 130 active church and non-profit host sites in Florida alone and the numbers are growing every day.

Costs are cut by thirty to seventy percent by buying the food direct from the farms and eliminating high overhead costs.  Therefore, a substantial savings is passed onto the consumer.   The host sites assist by acting as a drop location for the food in their community.  Gaballi, who strives to only provide top quality food, works closely with churches, religious organizations, community groups, and the media in almost every city across Florida.  Anyone is welcome to place food orders with Gaballi.  There is no proof of income or applications to apply.  Gaballi is seeing an increase in middle class families who are ordering and simply trying to make ends meet.  Gaballi currently delivers once a month.

Gaballi gives $1 to the host sites for every box they deliver and also has a program to donate a percentage of free food to all of these active organizations and their members.  Churches are using the free food they earn to fill their food pantries and help the growing number of individuals and families lining up at their organization for aid and assistance.  Gaballi is giving these organizations another avenue to help feed families in need, while offering everyone a chance to cut their groceries bills by thirty to seventy percent.  The next food delivery date is Saturday, February 25th and the deadline for the public to place their orders for this delivery date is Sunday, February 19th at midnight.
