"The over one thousand Rabbis of the aforementioned national organizations wish to reiterate the view of traditional and Orthodox Jewry for thousands of years:

"We have opposed the homosexual agenda from 'day-one,' when they attempted to craft a separate class based on their bedroom misbehavior.

"We now stand on the precipice of 'Gay-Marriage,' which, our Sages inform us, poses an existential threat to society.

"Additionally, no one can claim to be an Orthodox Jew while denying the very commandments of the Almighty Himself. Thus, we condemn the misrepresentation on the part of any "fringe Orthodox" Jew associated with the Southern California Board Of Rabbis, or any other anti-Torah group, who seeks to pervert Divine Law to 'conform' to Human depravity.

"We call on all of our fellow Jews, as well as all concerned citizens, to defend marriage by all means necessary, and to vote for Proposition 8 in California. This struggle is clearly a G-dly imperative, and Californians can heroically serve as a lighthouse to the entire country.

"Reminding Orthodox Jewish voters about the Torah-prohibitions of voting, supporting, or honoring proponents of abomination, we similarly urge militant opposition to propagators of cultural contamination.

"We wish to express deep gratitude to the many pro-family activists throughout the nation, for their tireless efforts to rescue our civilization from this and many other threats to our moral survival.
