WASHINGTON, July 14 /Christian Newswire/ --  "Public Advocate's Sotomayor's UnReality Tour" arrives in Washington Tuesday to show what a world according to Judge Sonia Sotomayer would look like if she were a Supreme Court judge.

Lifeguards who can't swim. A doctor who flunked med school. A 3rd grade university president. Blind train conductors. Cooks who can't boil water. Lawyers who did not pass the bar exam but who are now judges.

Demonstrators will hold a sign "Sonia Sotomayor, Wrong on the firemen, wrong for America." Another member of Public Advocate will hold a sign with the words "Thanks to Sonia Sotomayor, I flunked med school and am now a doctor."

Eugene Delgaudio, president of PA said

"The recent Supreme Court case " Ricci, et al., v. DeStefano, et al." -- involving 20 New Haven firefighters (19 white, one Hispanic) denied promotion after the city threw out a test because no African-Americans passed it-- shows a court majority and minority all writing about how they just differ on details or degree on how to hire the best public servants. Even the dissenters  [Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Steven Breyer, David Souter and John Paul Stevens] would uphold the discarding of results from a test with a disparate impact in order to avoid a de facto quota system.

"According to published sources and the actual opinion, the minority dissenters on the Supreme Court questioned the lower court (Judge Sotomayer) never even looking at the intent of New Haven in their
testing process. So if Judge Sotomayor has her way, we don't need to even have a Judge that uses a wide breath of analysis and just installs less qualified professionals in public and private jobs."
